Solar Power seems to be the wave of the future of powering gadgets or homes. But what about liquid? The NEC Flask which will be released sometime in 2008, it is powered by a liquid fuel cell that disappears as power is drained away. The phone will also feature a touchscreen display and will have a unique sexiness written all over it. There are no other details as of now or even how they plan on refilling the fuel, just these pics we dug up at from the NEC’s Website which feature VERY woman friendly colors.
Nokia Location Tagger is a small application running on S60 3rd devices that allows you to tag pictures captured from Camera application with geographical coordinates from GPS. The tagging process itself is sometimes called geotagging or geocoding (see also this article at Wikipedia). Technically, the location information is stored in the EXIF header of your pictures.
What can we do with the tagged pictures? You can upload them to the photo sharing sites, such as Flickr, Panoramio and Picasa Web, so that your friends know where the pictures were taken. If you want to keep them private on your PC, some photo organizer applications, such as Picasa (combined with Google Earth), are able to display location information. Please read the instructions at Nokia Location Tagger web page.

With just a thickness of 13.7mm, the F705i just become this morning the slimmest waterproof phone ever made. Our little wonder meets the IPX5 and IPX7 waterproof standard which means that your can still operate the phone after been spayed with water or plunged underwater (1m max during 30 minutes). The perfect device for those who want to bring their phone to the Hot Spring (Japanese one) or in the bathtub.
The F705i also feature the Super Clear Voice and Super Clear Mike, which automatically adjust the volume of an incoming caller’s voice according to the ambient noise level.
OUr device also receive a 1.3Mpix camera, the Quick Zoom (in order to increase or decrease the size of the text displayed on the screen)

If you’re a keen geotagger of your imagery, then a recently announced $150 device from ATP Electronics may be just the ticket. Dubbed the GPS Photo Finder, it works in a rather carefree way: you just have to carry it around with you while you’re shooting, and then insert your memory card into it, before you download your photos. All it does is work out where you were for each photo from its position log, and then embed that data into the JPEG files directly.
Built-in card reading works with MMC/SD and MemoryStick Duo, but the clever little box also has on-the-go USB functionality so it can interface with some digital cameras without needing a PC. Currently it works with JPEG files only, though that’s the convenient format most of us use anyway. And if you’re worried about correctly setting your camera time to synchronize with it accurately, then don’t: it’s got a small screen and can give you UTC GPS time
