When Nokia’s Booklet 3G laptop/netbook/whatever-you-want-to-call-it was first announced last week, we were pretty impressed. Surprisingly so, in fact. We knew a Nokia laptop was on the horizon but we really expected it to be a boring, inexpensive “me too” offering intended to make Nokia’s entry into the notebook space a simple and attainable one. As it turns out, the exact opposite is the case — the Nokia Booklet 3G is anything but simple, it’s anything but boring and with the announced price of 575€ ($817 USD), it’s anything but inexpensive. Now that Nokia World ‘09 is here and the Booklet 3G’s specs have been revealed, we’re even more bowled over than we were before. The bottom line is that the Booklet 3G is a Windows 7-powered beast with an insane 12 hour battery life (and that’s supposedly usage time, not standby), admirable specs and a design that’s just begging to be ogled. Yep, we need it. Hit the jump for the full specs along with a new promo vid and a brief video interview with the designer.

Has increased the quality step by step
Earlier this year, therefore, the service introduced two versions of videos, “Normal” and “High Quality”, where the latter gave a significantly better result.

In recent weeks, however, there has been some rumor that you really can see some YouTube videos in HD quality by making some changes to the address of the video.

Launched in the set
And over the weekend has launched YouTube Snik function without any major fuss. Even videos uploaded a long time back is now available in HD quality. The prerequisite is that the video that you upload to the site is in the minimum points 1280×720 (720p).

Already it has begun to emerge uncertainty about YouTube HD content can really be regarded as HD content, but it is at least certain that it looks significantly better than before.

A search for “HD” at YouTube provides a wide range of examples you can try out for yourself. In order to really see the difference, it is preferable to the videos in full.

Visa will come card fraud to life by using a credit card that generates its own security.

The innovative new card from Visa Europe comes with a built-in Code generator to create uniqe codes that must be used when you are shopping where you do not physically “pull” the card or use the ATM. It applies primarily to shop online, where the user must enter the card number to pay.

In such cases, you will be asked to enter your pin code on the card’s built-in keyboard. Then the card will give you the uniqe code that you need to finalize the transaction.

This means that even if some people have copied the card or the card information, they wont be able to use the card for shopping because they do not generated the necessary uniqe code.

Currently, the new card will be launched in a pilot project. If the outcome successful,

Mobile Skype was previously only available on Smartphones like Windows Mobile, but they’ve just ported a Java version for all kinds of non-smart phones. Be aware that this isn’t like the previous iterations and even Skype to Skype calls cost money (or use up your minutes), so there’s no huge reason in using this to call someone you can easily call already. What it is useful for is calling overseas, since you use up regular minutes but only get charged SkypeOut rates instead of your exhorbitant cellphone international call rates

The Myka is what many Torrent fans have been waiting for—a device that makes it easy to download torrents and play them on your living room TV. You can connect to the internet via LAN or WiFi, it has HDMI, Composite, S-Video and SPDIF ports (nice), your choice of 80, 160 or 500 gigabytes (and USB expansion) and the Linux OS with pre-installed BitTorrent software. You can even transfer videos directly from your computer. Prices are going to fall between $299 and $459, which is more than the Apple TV, but something tells me that there is some built-in value there

If you want to pre-order this box go to http://www.myka.tv/pre_order.html
